Chertoff Given Nod for Homeland Security - Hillary, Watch Your Back!

I have been predicting for the past two months that, immediately after the inauguration on January 20th, the Rove machine will implement a plan that has been in the works for a long time. They will go after Hillary Clinton with a vengeance, using the financing of the Clinton Library as the raison d'etre for another Whitewater-style special investigation. It will not matter one jot or tittle whether or not she's guilty or that Bill CLinton is flying around the world raising money for tsunami relief. By roiling the waters for the next two years, the GOP hopes to (a) unseat her as Senator in New York and (b) derail her Presidential ambitions. When I heard about the Chertoff nomination today and the fact that he worked for two years as the Republican Special Counsel for the Whitewater Committee, my ears perked up. Mark my words. The hunt is on - not for Osama bin Laden - but for Mrs. Clinton. I sure hope the Distinguished Senator from New York has all her ducks in a row!
