O'Reilly's Swift Boat Vet Employment Agency
Reported by Deborah - January 7, 2005
Steve Gardner, Swift Boat Vet,returned to Fox to tell his story of harsh treatment by his Democratic employers who he claimed fired him for his anti Kerry activities.Since Gardner had previously told his story on Hannity some time ago, it seemed strange that he was back again until O'Reilly pulled out Gardner's resume.1/7/05
On Gardner's last visit, to H&C, his story was a bit different. At that time, full of arrogant bluster, Gardner claimed that he was taking legal action against his company. Now since they have used him as a consultant, he acted as if litigation had never occurred to him.
He still stands firm in his allegation that he was victimized because of his Swift Boat involvement.
O'Reilly without a hint of shame pulled out the resume stating that Gardner was 57 and needed a job adding he that was a real patriot with two tours of duty in Vietnam . The job plea was repeated at the end of the show.
Comment:Guess O'Reilly is thanking Gardner for being part of such a grotesque and ruthless smear campaign against John Kerry. Why would anyone want to hire this man knowing that he is capable of any deception to satisfy his personal illusions. He can't even believe that he was fired for legitimate reasons blaming others which means he would do the same thing on the job. It's that old karmic wheel just coming around again.
