Bianca Jagger Speaks Out Against Gonzales

Bianca Jagger,a dignified and powerful spirit, appeared on H&C to speak out against Gonzales. Because of her experiences with torture in South America,she is naturally alarmed that this man may be confirmed.Hannity was having a hissy fit earlier with Bob Beckel on the torture issue and he was trying to get nasty with Jagger but she was not impressed. 1/7/05
Beckel and Colmes were great tonight debating Ed Rollins and Hannity.
It is pretty clear that Hannity and Rollins have no problem torturing terrorist suspects but they also refuse to admit this fact.Like most Republicans, they will say whatever it takes to make Gonzales look like a decent man just to get him confirmed so he can continue running the torture palaces like Guantaomo.
Bianca's message was simple. She claimed that torture doesn't work and it is against the rule of law adding emphatically that Gonzales endorses torture and that is not acceptable. There was no room for spin and Hannity couldn't get her to react even when he called her Miss Human Rights Activist Then he asked her what she would do if someone kidnapped her daughter and only torture would make the kidnapper talk.She just swatted the question aside as something not worth considering
Then Bianca diffused Hannity with this one statement,
" You're a decent man. I'm surprised that you condone this."
Hannity was finished.
