Peoples Choice Awards - Overlooked by FOX

Newshounds Editorial
The Peoples Choice Awards. Sunday night, 9PM ET (delayed PT). Movies, TV shows, entertainers, etc. all picked by "the folks." Fahrenheit 9/11 is up for Best Picture and Passion of the Christ in the running for Best Movie Drama. Where's FOX News Channel on this one? Doesn't it have all the earmarks of a MONUMENTAL STRUGGLE between GOOD in the person of Mel Gibson, battered, beleaguered champion of all that's holy & sanctified and EVIL in the person of (hiss, boo) Michael Moore, the FAT TRAITOR who wants to SELL US to the nearest AL QAEDA terrorist while gleefully counting his money all the way to the bank?
Well, FOX is probably hedging its bets.
In the event Moore loses and Gibson wins, FOX will be all over it, singing hosannas in praise of Gibson while their resident prophet, Saint William of Loofah, heralds it as another VICTORY FOR GOD.
If, on the other hand, Moore wins and Gibson loses, why, they've got that covered, too. They'll just drag out a cadre of their multi-million dollar holy men to pound the pulpit and lament the victory of Satan and the demons of darkness (that would be me and whoever else voted for Fahrenheit 9/11!).
And, if both win - well, then FOX will probably ignore it. After all that would just prove what everyone already knows. The country is split right down the middle.
So, loyal readers, mark your calendars. Invite the gang over. Break out the popcorn, pretzels, brew and beer-nuts and spend the night just having a good time watching a silly awards show.
(I promise I won't tell if you happen to have a buck or two riding on the outcome!)
Here is the list of nominees. Feel free to post your choices and spend some quality time discussing the absolutely frivolous!
