FOX Priorities
Reported by Ellen - January 3, 2005
Just now, I checked the little drop down box called "Today's Top Stories" at the top of the home page of FOXNews.com. In a group of the top five "U.S. & World" stories is this: Amber Frey Book to Hit Stores.
If you click on any of the top stories in that category, you get to the U.S. & World page with "More U.S. & World Headlines" where the book release story is second from the top.
Other U.S. & World stories that didn't make it into the top five on the home page of FOXNews.com are:
Canada confirms new mad cow case
Feds Investigate Laser Beam Case
Secretary General Annan to Visit Indonesia
Instead, FOX deems the release of Amber Frey's book to be more important than those items. It wouldn't have anything to do with the fact that her book is being published by ReganBooks, owned by Murdoch's News Corp, the same parent company that owns FOX News, would it?
