Best? of Hannity and Colmes
Reported by Deborah - December 27, 2004
Tonight's show was labeled a special edition Best of Hannity&Colmes but it seemed like a hastily prepared, non-toxic, collection of past segments. 12/27/04
There was Hannity's exclusive interview with Tommy Franks which bolstered the administrations position in Iraq. Then Colmes talked to Wesley Clarke during the fleeting moments of togetherness at the opening of Bill Clinton's library.
Mohammed Ali's lovely daughter chatted peacefully with Hannity and Colmes making a point of her Father's commitment to the true message of peace found in the Muslim religion. Hannity was extremly decent in this interview stressing that Islamic extremist have nothing to do with decent Muslims.
The show wrapped up with Rebecca St James who is a supporter of abstinance and purity ( Their word, not mine) St James performed live and that was it.
However, on the ticker there was one line about Ohio claiming that there is an investigation because of a lack of voting machines in minority districts and computer irregularities.Paige Hopkins actually reported on the Ohio situation briefly at 9:10PM. Her report was very brief and like the ticker line, lacked detail. Three lines on the ticker were given to a recent decision to study the drug ecstacy on cancer patients.
comment: It was a relief to come away from the hour without clenched shoulders and non specific anxiety.
