Ed Bradley interviewed Bob Dylan tonight on 60 Minutes. At the end of the interview Bradley pointed out that Dylan's new book, Chronicles: Volume One, was published by Simon & Schuster, a division of Viacom, CBS's parent company.
COMMENT: I suggest a visit to our News Corp. Hegemony category and the post Dear America: You're Making us All Rich. Thanks so Much. Love, Rupert, which documents how Fox News participates in promoting divisions of its parent company, News Corp., yet rarely reveals that a guest or a book or a movie given time on its air has those ties.
Last week I posted Oh, The Hypocrisy of Fox News about how Fox bashes other networks for failing to disclose their corporate links yet rarely does so itself. Fox loves to appear angelic, righteous and pure, yet a look behind the scenes tells a different story.
