CNN Advertises on FOX

I thought there was something wrong with my VCR while I was watching a tape of After Hours. But the CNN ad for "American Morning" really did air on FOX last night, just before 11:21 pm ET. The slogan seemed to take direct aim at FOX: "Where real news makes a difference."

I can't make up my mind whether this is an audacious move by CNN or a sign of desperation.
