CBS remembers 2000

Dan Rather on CBS acknowledged that other networks had called Ohio for Bush but said they were going to rely on their own rules, and they feel it's too close to call. He made oblique reference to the mindgames of 2000 when Bush's cousin called Florida for him, saying that once the call is made for a candidate it is hard to take it back, and since there is still counting to be done and challenges to be made, CBS is withholding its call.
We'll see what the morning brings, friends. I hope it's not four more years of hell.
