Fox continues expected build-up of Bush
Reported by Chrish - November 2, 2004 -
Going to commercial at around 6:40, Brit Hume read the graphics on the screen: with only 1% of the national vote in, Bush ahead 57% to Kerry's 42%. He acknowledged that the information was insufficient for any conclusion, yet it sat there on the screen for 10 seconds or more. Start instilling the impression of a win early and often.
Note that these are popular vote numbers, of course, which will have no importance later on anyway (unless Bush loses the EC and wins the popular vote.)
