Is FOX News Hiding Some of Its Poll Results?

Reported by Ellen - November 1, 2004 -

On the October 31 edition of FOX News Sunday, Chris Wallace mentioned the latest FOX News Opinion Dynamics Poll showing the race a tie. During a segment with Bob Shrum, Senior Advisor to the Kerry campaign, Wallace displayed a full-screen graphic that was reportedly from that same poll, taken October 29-30, 2004. Wallace reported, and the screen showed, that Bush has an 11-point lead over Kerry on the question of who would do a better job handling terrorism. Regular readers know I have been following the FOX polls pretty carefully. My recollection was that this question was not asked in the latest poll.

So I went to the FOXNews.com website which provides a link to the "Full poll results." That question is not in the polling data, as reported by FOX on its web.

Kind of makes you wonder about what else FOX is not reporting in its "full poll results" doesn't it? Send comments to comments@foxnews.com

I'm going to write to FOXNews.com for an explanation. I'll keep you posted on their response.
