Peggy Noonan Knows

It's not quite clear why Peggy Noonan was considered an expert on the newest UBL tape but she came on Hannity&Colmes tonight, anyway, to tell viewers what it all meant. Her interpretation was totally predictable and she oozed the genteel authority of someone who knows all. 10/29/04 9PM
Sitting ramrod straight and looking both wise and all seeing, Noonan enlightened viewers with these pearls of wisdom.
"He speaks before the election to effect the outcome... A man who needs killin"
"He has been weakened. Bush weakened him. A man on the run."
"We never got Hitler but Hitler got dead in the end."
"This is a 20, 30, 40 year war. It's going to be messy and we're going to win."
Comment: Since the Republicans couldn't bring UBL's body to the voters, a threatening tape is the next best thing.
