Bush Endorses Kerry
Reported by Nancy - October 27, 2004 -
In a campaign speech today (10/27), Bush made another one of his ... er, mis-statements. FNL aired it without noting the implicit endorsement of Kerry.
At a GOP campaign event in Lancaster, PA, Bush said: "This investigation is important & it's ongoing, & a political candidate who jumps to conclusions without knowing the facts is not a person you want as your commander in chief." The crowd cheered, as they always do.
In an earlier post about today's edition of FNL (http://www.newshounds.us/2004/10/27/380_tons_of_excuses.php#more), I noted that they had interrupted a segment about the Scott Peterson case to air part of a Bush campaign speech. I kept waiting for someone on FNL to focus on this sentence. Needless to say, they did not. So I will:
Bush says "a political candidate who jumps to conclusions without knowing the facts is not a person you want as your commander in chief."
I couldn't agree more.
