Hannity's Hate Tour
Reported by Deborah - October 23, 2004 -
Sean Hannity constantly raves about the hate filled Democrats who bash Bush and he loves to ask Democratic guests, if they are ashamed. Well, yesterday after tuning in on Hannity's appearance in Dallas to his loyal following,it was clear that no Democrat could spew hate as viciously as Hannity, spurred on by his booing, jeering and cheering fans.

Here are a few of the lowlights of his roadshow introduction.
"We all seek out that one little liberal when we're on tour. Here liberal.... Here little liberal. This is the first stop we can not find a single liberal in this huge crowd. (Cheers) We heard enough fear mongering this week. A party devoid of character; no soul; no core."
Imitating Ted Kennedy's voice, Hannity mocked the Senator for refusing to be interrupted during their phone call. He added a hiccough in the dialogue to make a drinking reference about Kennedy and repeated the poor gag a few times to cheering fans.
Kerry's duck hunting got a few minutes and the crowd jeered and booed while Hannity meanly ridiculed Kerry and Dukakis.
"Liberals can't stand it when I say I'm going to pray that Kerry loses. I'm going to pray on my knees"
Hannity then did a very ridiculous imitation of Clinton complaining about how hard Hannity went after him for 8 years. "We could do the same thing to Kerry."
That brought wild cheers
Despite Hannity's arrogant posing, there was a lot of anxiety expressed in his rhetoric and his frenzied need for validation from his base was was palpable.
Comment: Honestly, I could only make it through the first five minutes. It is difficult to express the level of hate and desperation coming through from Hannity. His comment about going after Kerry like Clinton was particularly interesting. However, I think Hannity knows that those days are over since we have found our backbone. Also, once Kerry wins, the real truth will emerge about the horrors of the Bush administration and Hannity's style will be useless
to Fox.
