Hannity Dumps on Nader
Reported by Deborah - October 21, 2004 -
When Ralph Nader appeared on Hannity&Colmes tonight, Hannity's irritability had reached a dangerous level. Nader, who is socially awkward on his good nights, decided to make a little comment about Hannity's "softball" questions to Cheney. Ralph made a huge mistake. 10/20/04 9:50 PM ET
Hannity asked Nader no questions and instead let loose with the following:
"You're a loser, less than 1%.You don't have a message that resonates with the voters. You don't have support. You're not a good candidate. Your're a waste of time. I don't see why we invited you here."
After an awkward moment ,Nader realized that Hannity wasn't going to continue the interview so he just gave his own campaign speech while Hannity looked bored and dismissive.
comment: Although I have little regard for Nader, Hannity's reaction was totally inexcusable and downright mean. What is a man, who can't manage his anger enough to professionally talk to his guests, doing on a political debate program.
If Hannity worked on any other network, he'd be out on his rear tonight. One would hope that even Fox has professional standards but I guess that's not the case.
