Politics is the Business on Fox News' "Business" Show

Maybe it's just me, but I would think that the first segment or two on a "business and financial" program, like Your World w/Neil Cavuto, which airs on Fox News at 4:00 p.m. ET weekdays, immediately following the close of the New York stock exchange, would be on "business and financial" topics. Maybe, information on where the Dow and the Nasdaq closed? Maybe information on the issues affecting trading that day? Maybe information about events that took place over the weekend or overnight which might be affecting the markets? Maybe information on the price of the dollar, or the price of oil? Maybe what the bond market or the S&P did that day? Maybe information on what the foreign markets did? Maybe news coming out of individual companies which might be affecting certain sectors of the market?
Nope, not on Fox News' premiere "business and financial" show. The first segment today (October 18, 2004) was on the likeability of Bush versus Kerry. (Bush, of course, was deemed more likeable.) The second segment featured a psychologist who explained what qualities likeable people have (most of which, ironically (?) enough, applied to the public Bush more so than to the public Kerry).
COMMENT: The premiere, top-of-the-hour, get-to-first business of this show isn't financial business, it's politicial business.
