Brick Wall Hannity Crumbles
Reported by Deborah - October 16, 2004 -
Hannity still has the rigidity of a brick wall but his foundation is crumbling as the election nears and Bush is losing ground. Last night his behavior during the first segment with Pat Caddell and Rick Martin revealed a man no longer able to cope with debate. 10/15/04 9PM
The most interesting thing in the segment was Pat Caddell's new position on the Republican side of the debate. His label read, Former Democratic Strategist, and Hannity made a point of mentioning that he was a democrat even though he took the Republican side which is what he always does anyway.
Caddell take on the Mary Cheney flap was right on target with the Fox move to accuse Kerry of manipulating minority voters. According to Caddell, the comment was an attempt to sway the minority voters who are against gay marriage.
Hannity couldn't even deal with Caddell's comment because it interfered with his pre planned script. The Dem strategist, Rick Martin, was never allowed to speak and at one point Hannity just lost control.
" You're a walking, boring cliche. For 5 seconds, if you can't say anything intelligent then why are you here?"
Comment:
Hannity just took off with his own rant and it was clear that the man had lost his balance. Colmes provided order to the chaos, as he usually does, but Hannity has become a real liability for Fox. Too many outbursts and too many lies.
