The Business of Politics

Reported by Melanie - October 15, 2004 -

Fox ran a promo for it's Saturday morning "business" shows during Your World w/Neil Cavuto today (October 15, 2004). The blurb gives you an idea of how much politicial activism's mixed into the "number one business block in all of cable news." Here's how it went (the name of the show being advertised is in bold).

"Saturday, winning the war on terror and winning on Wall Street. Which candidate is the better bet? Bulls & Bears. Then, Kerry says Bush put America over a barrel [video of gas pump]. Is he right? The shocking answer on Cavuto on Business. And, is our strategy in Iraq the best strategy for your money? The heated debate on Forbes on Fox. Plus, get ready for an election rally. Find out the stocks that will bring you a financial victory on Cashin' In. Only one network has the number one business block in all of cable news. Only one. Only Fox News Channel."

COMMENT: You should watch one or all of these shows sometime. They are NOT business shows. They're pro-Bush, slam Kerry ads.
