What About The Environment?

Why was the environment ignored in tonight's debate? If Bob Schieffer was responsible for the content of the questions, why weren't the urgent problems facing our environment addressed adequately? The fact that John Kerry's environmental record is so strong and George Bush's so reprehensible, makes one wonder about this glaring ommission. 10/13/04 Presidential Debate- Tempe Arizona
