Vote in the O'Reilly Poll

Reported by Marie Therese - October 7, 2004 -

Bill O'Reilly actually defended John Edwards against LA conservative talk show host Tammy Bruce.

Bruce claimed that in the debates John Edwards came off as a"light weight dilettante." O'Reilly countered "I have to disagree here. I don't think John Edwards came off as a light weight dilettante at all...He had a good command of the issues and he didn't answer some of the questions he needed to answer but certainly Edwards was engaging..."

However, later after a spirited debate between Bruce, O'Reilly and the faux-Democratic spokesperson, Juan Williams, O'Reilly backtracked and said: "If I'm Osama watching the The Factor and I see those two guys, I'm more afraid of Cheney."

Comment

If I'm Osama bin Laden and I have to choose between a couple of isolationists who have alienated 90% of the world and therefore inhibited the delicate diplomacies required to close down banks and hunt down and capture terrorists and the other guys - who promise to mend those torn relationships and unite the world in a common cause against terrorism - who do you think I'd vote for?

Speaking of votes, take a few minutes to vote in the billorielly.com poll. The question is about whether The Factor favors one candidate over the other.
