Kerry's French Connection

Reported by Judy - October 4, 2004 -

Fox and Friends co-host Steve Doocy today (Oct.4) reverted to the seventh grade in his discussion of a poll of Canadians on George Bush and John Kerry.

Doocy said the poll showed people in Canada prefer Kerry over Bush by a margin of 56 percent to 19 percent. Kerry's biggest strength, Doocy said, was in Quebec, "which of course is Frennnnnch." Doocy drew out the word "French" to convey his favorite Kerry smear: John Kerry is French, he speaks French, etc.

Co-host E.D. Hill was still spinning last Thursday's Kerry-Bush debate. While conceding that Kerry won, Hill said that Bush may have been tired because he spent the whole day with hurricane victims in Florida.

God forbid there be a national emergency Bush had to deal with right before bedtime after a long time of campaigning. Macho Man would need to grab another seven-minute nap before he could deal with it. After all, some say, "it's hard work" to be president.
