Praise Bush w/Neil Cavuto
Reported by Melanie - September 30, 2004 -
Your World w/Neil Cavuto should have been re-named today (September 30, 2004).
After opening with three short interviews pertaining to Merck's recall of the drug Vioxx, Cavuto settled in. His first guest was Alphonso Jackson, the Secretary of Housing and Urban Development who spoke on why Bush is good for African-American voters. Next came Jack Welsh, the former CEO of General Electric, speaking mostly about what's wrong with John Kerry. (Here's a post on that interview.) Next up was Fox reporter Degan McDowell reporting on how the bulls "could come running" in the next few weeks if it looks like there's a clear winner in the debate tonight. Then Cavuto's near-daily round table discussion, with five people (including Cavuto), every one of them pushing Bush. And finally, Shimon Perez, the former Israeli Prime Minister who praised Bush's war in Iraq, compared Saddam to Hitler and Stalin and the Iraq war to WWII.
Then, for our daily dose of fearmongering, the last interview was with the CEO of a company which makes scanning equipment.
COMMENT: A more approrpriate name for today's show would have been something like Praise Bush w/Neil Cavuto.
