He Also Said Saddam Had WMD's

Bush: 'I Fulfilled My Duties.' Was there any doubt we'd find this article on FOXNews.com one day?
FOX, the network that cheers George W. Bush under any and all circumstances, opens its article by Liza Porteus with the following inspiring words about our president:
"If the commander in chief's Air National Guard unit had been called up to serve in the Vietnam War, the younger George W. Bush would have gladly gone overseas, the president said in an exclusive interview with FOX News."
Interestingly, the quote printed in the next paragraph leaves out the word "gladly."
"'I was on active duty for a little over a year and a half and I proudly served. And had my unit been called up, I'd have gone,'" Bush told FOX News' Bill O'Reilly. 'I fulfilled my duties I did exactly what my commanders told me to do,' Bush said."
Bush goes on to demonstrate that he mixes up a commander with a general (not exactly the hallmark of a great military man) in the next paragraph which concludes the article. "Asked if he thought he got special preferential treatment getting into the Air Guard, Bush responded: 'No. I don't. As a matter of fact, the general that, or the commander of the unit, Buck Staudt, said, said the same thing: 'No.'"
Did the Real Journalism, Fair and Balanced network do any independent investigation into Bush's claims? Apparently not. What's the matter, afraid they might turn out to have the same veracity as Saddam's WMD's?
