Where's the "Business?"

Reported by Melanie - September 23, 2004 -

Ten minutes into today's (September 23, 2004) Dayside w/Linda Vester, Fox ran an ad for it's Saturday morning "business" shows. (COMMENT: These shows seem to be as much about politics as the rest of their shows are, the difference being they add a business twist.) Here's how the ad went:

"Saturday. Analyze this. If Bush's poll numbers keep going up, will the market heat up? Answers on Bulls & Bears." Banner: Will Stocks Go Up?

"Then, this bites. Did your tax dollars fund the biggest scandal in financial history? The Oil for Food program exposed. Cavuto on Business." Banner: UN Wasting Your Tax Dollars?

"And, Bush bashing. Is beating up on the President and Iraq hurting our troops and Wall Street? Answers on Forbes on Fox." Banner: Kerry Hurting Our Troops & Market?

"Plus, bull's eye? Find out why the CBS controversy could bring on a bull market. Cashin' In." Banner: Bull's "Eye"?

"Only one network has the number one business block in all of cable news."

COMMENT: Pretty lean on the business part, wouldn't you say?
