Alan Colmes had an exclusive interview with Madeline Albright tonight at 9:45 PM,9/20/04 It was a pleasure to see a view of Iraq from a respected authority like Albright who was able to offer Fox viewers a rational and opposing opinion on this issue. The exclusive interview also spared us the embarrassment of Hannity cross examining such a highly respected statesman. Two statements made by Secretary Albright stood out.
"President Bush believes things that are untrue. There is the reality on the ground and the "happy talk" by the administration."
"I have not seen national security this politicized since the McCarthy era."
comment: Discussing the "reality on the ground" in Iraq is something that must happen more often on Fox and remembering the McCarthy era is imperative for us right now. Thank You, Colmes.
