Terror Talk Returns

Talk of terror threats has returned to Fox this afternoon with a report on the "October Plan" which is an attempt by the FBI to prevent a large attack by terrorists who want to effect the election. This is hardly a new concept for Fox but this time the FBI has added it's badge of authenticity to the story. 9/18/04 5PM ET
Greg Kelly reported that there will be aggressive surviellance until election day as well as interrogations and potential detention of suspected terrorists. The FBI will be visiting Mosques to ask about suspicious activity, hopefully to avert an attack like the one in Madrid carried out to directly influence their election.
Dari Alexander interviewed Peter King R., New York who was very supportive of this effort. King claimed that as long as the arrests took place on US soil and the suspects were citizens, their constitutional rights would be respected. He added that what happens in Guantanamo Bay is a different story.
comment: Seems like October will bring us the "Plan" and maybe the "Surprise" too.
So maybe, if the "October Plan" manages to prevent the "October Surprise", the outcome of the election will be influenced, just like they predicted. Only this time the incumbant party won't suffer the same fate as Spain's.
