Hill Claims Texans for Truth Reward

Reported by Judy - September 15, 2004 -

Fox and Friends co-host E.D. Hill today (Sept. 14) tried to cash in on a $50,000 reward offered by Texans for Truth, but her proposal was, as usual, one dimensional.

Fox and Friends co-hosts were discussing the $50,000 reward Texans for Truth is offering to anyone who can prove George Bush fulfilled his National Guard service. Texans for Truth has aired an ad featuring a man who served in the Alabama National Guard at the same time as Bush and says that he never saw him.

Hill said she would show Texans for Truth Bush's honorable discharge papers to prove he did his duty. "Doesn't that prove it?" she asked.

Well, yes, in the same way that official government reports of fighting in South Vietnam prove that John Kerry is a war hero who deserved medals from his country. And we all know how trustworthy Fox News thinks those documents are.
