Time for Finger Pointing

Reported by Deborah - September 14, 2004 -

Hannity and Brent Bozell were full of righteous indignation tonight, pointing fingers at CBS, Dan Rather and the Democrats.9/14/04 9:12 PM

Hannity got right to the point blaming the Kerry campaign of feeding the memos to Dan Rather after forging them which is a pretty serious accusation.
""Earlier, Kerry aides raised the exact point the memos seemed to address. CBS got it from the Kerry people."

Alan Colmes raised the point that Killian's secretary said that she wasn't sure if the memos were forged but she felt the content was correct.
Bozell did not want to deal with that concept. "I don't care to discuss the contents of a fraudulent memo."

Then Hannity made an inflammatory statement about CBS.
" CBS is saying they don't want the truth."

Towards the end of the segment Hannity addressed Bozell, "You want Dan Rather's suspension. He should step down from covering political events."

The piece ended with Brent Bozell, chin in hand , thoughtfully glaring at the audience from his TV box .

comment: It's a good thing that Hannity always claims not to be a journalist because tonight he was totally unprofessional especially, if he claims to be a journalist.Talking about Dan Rather's suspension for his lack of journalistic integrity, sounds pretty lame, coming from someone like Hannity. His comment "CBS says they don't want the truth." is probably grounds for suspension for Hannity if he worked anywhere other than Fox. As it stands, Hannity will probably get a bonus at Fox for that untruth, about CNN.
