A Not-So-Subliminal Message
Reported by Ellen - September 11, 2004 -
At FOXNews.com, a large red box appears at the top of the opening page. Next to the headline, "Bush Memos Probed," is a photo of George W. Bush in military uniform. Next to the photo is the caption, "Early-'70's papers questioning president's National Guard service look like they were typed in Microsoft Word."
Comment: Is it fair and balanced to put a photo of Bush in military uniform next to a headline indicating that questions about his military service are illegitimate? In my view, it sends a rather pointed message in support of Bush. Again.
