Bravo Alan Colmes

Colmes came well prepared for battle tonight and managed to best Terry Holt, during a discussion with Michael Meehan. When faced with the real truth, Holt lost his bluster. 9/3/04 9PM ET
Colmes focused on the attacks on Kerry during the keynote speeches telling Holt that Kerry had been misrepresented by the speakers. Holt was full of confidence until Colmes showed Zell Miller's statement about Kerry followed by a clip of what Kerry really said.
Holt tried to discredit Colmes, Do your research ." Colmes was angry," I did my research! Don't impugn me!" Meehan jumped in with , "You had people just making stuff up."
After Colmes showed a clip of Cheney distorting a Kerry comment followed by the true Kerry statement, Holt tried to get nasty but Meehan came right back with an attack on Cheney and would not allow Holt to intimidate him.
Holt, shown on the bottom of the screen, with pursed lips and blank stare, was silenced.It felt great after enduring the past four days. Alan Colmes and Michael Meehan, we thank you for expressing our outrage.
