Miller#9 on Hannity&Colmes

Of course, Hannity had Zell on tonight, thinking it would be an easy opportunity to get some Kerry damage in, before the big moment. Zell was glad to oblige for a time, until Colmes hit him hard.9/2/04 9PM ET
Zell was just sailing along reliving his speech and explaining the purity of his anger . He was in self righteous la-la land with Hannity just feeding him the openings.
Colmes asked Miller about his speech in "91", when he praised Kerry's recored on defense. Zell tried to do the repug wiggle but Colmes kept hammering the same question. "Which is it.?"
Finally Zell admitted that he finally did research before this speech and found out how bad Kerry's record really was, claiming he didn't know before. Then Colmes repeated an unkind comment he made about Poppy Bush earlier. Zell Miller quickly assured all that he had apologized many times . Zell said,"Last night he told me that I more than made up for it."
Colmes neatly damaged Zell Miller's credibility to the undecided voters, for everyone else, Miller has no credibility. At least, Colmes knocked him off his pedestal making him look like a crooked opportunistic loser. During this convention, thats a big deal.
