CNN Comments on the Protest

As massive crowds of people continue to march peacefully by Madison Square Garden, CNN did a report at 3:34 PM that was partisan and inflammatory. CNN talked about how the protests will hurt Kerry and the Democrats . They referred to the protesters as troublemakers and a Republican interviewed responded with, "A bunch of people with tattoos throwing rocks west of the Delaware, makes the Republicans look good." Bill Schneider ended the piece with the following comment, Didn't Kerry become a leader of the anti-war movement protesting?"
The only disruption visible on C-SPAN, was the bonfire that was quickly extinguished without incident, while the mass of marchers waited patiently.CNN 8/29/04
