Earlier this morning (8/28), I went to the Fox News website to double-check something I had heard during one of their programs. While I was looking at their home page, one cluster of stories caught my eye.
These are stories, exactly as headlined on the Fox News website, all in one clump:
Warlords Battle in Western Afghanistan
Marine Helicopter Down in Afghanistan
Rumsfeld Hails Progress in Afghanistan
Gunmen Kill Two Aid Workers in Afghanistan
U.S., Afghanistan Battle Insurgents on Border
So let's see: warlords battle, a Marine helicopter is down, two more aid workers are killed, & we're battling "insurgents" on the border -- & that's the GOOD news. But Rummy says we're making progress in Afghanistan, so it must be true.
