Iran and Iraq

Reported by Melanie - August 26, 2004 -

I believe that Fox News is doing more than any other news outlet to keep alive the idea of a strong connection between the troubles in Iraq, and Iran. Keeping this thread going could help, after the election, if Bush decides to invade or bomb Iran. It also helps now as it takes responsibility for the Iraq mess off the Bush administration and puts it on the Iranians.

Today (August 26, 2004) Col. Ed Bodolato (Ret. US. Marines) was Neil Cavuto's guest.

Their interview was quite short; the topic was Iraq, Muqtada al Sadr and Najaf. At the end of the interview, Bodolato said: "Sadr is not calling his own shots - the Iranians are calling the shots on what he does - they're paying him. They're giving him weapons and support so he changes his tune after he checked with his Iranian masters who are trying their absolute best" to keep the Iraqi government in high turmoil and to not let a new government take hold.
