More Important Than 9/11 Commission?

Reported by Ellen - August 24, 2004 -

The movie Outfoxed: Rupert Murdoch's War on Journalism reveals a memo from Fox Executive John Moody admonishing employees not to turn the 9/11 Commission hearings into a Watergate "what did he know and when did he know it" type story. But when it's a Democrat in the spotlight, it seems to be an entirely different situation. With the Swift Boat Veterans, there seems to be no such thing as too much coverage.

Tonight's Fox News Live with Alan Colmes devoted two more hours rehashing the same old, same old plus a few new reiterations of RNC talking points from Bush and Bob Dole. Colmes also reiterated his lamentations about the diversion from real issues. At least this night he brought up some of the questions surrounding Bush and Cheney's service records. Not an in-depth discussion, of course, but a mention.

It's funny how that NEVER seems to come up on the Real Journalism, Fair and Balanced station.
