I may have more to say about this later but I can't resist commenting now on a classic Bill O'Reilly rant tonight (August 23, 2004) on The O'Reilly Factor. O'Reilly expressed indignation at Senator Tom Harkin's (D-IA) charge that VP Dick Cheney is a "coward" for sending our kids off to war while dodging military service himself. (See this ABCNews.com article.) O'Reilly devoted a good three minutes to his emotional rant. As I listened, all I could think of was late last spring when Dick Cheney told Patrick Leahy (D-VT) to "Go f**k yourself."
