Exposing Those Shrill Democrats

Reported by Deborah - August 19, 2004 -

Hannity, always complaining about the "shrill" Democrats, who disgrace their party, whipped up a montage of his favorites, to show at the end of the show at 9:56PM.
There were teases for this, supposedly, unforgettable visual event, during the show. "How low can they go"was one of the teases. 8/18/04

The montage showed clips of Howard Dean, Al Gore, Ted Kennedy and Wesley Clark, Rev. Al Sharpton and Tom Harkin disagreeing strongly with the Bush administration. There was anger in the voices, but I detected no shrillness. However, I do concede, that shrillness is in the ear of the listener. I did detect courage, resolve and emotion in all their voices.

Hannity ended this closing segment with an appeal for Democrats to look at these clips before they cast their votes for Kerry adding the "we are at war and our soldiers in harms way" routine to his earnest appeal for the Republicans and Bush.

comment:Seeing these clips, made me proud to be a Democrat and I felt gratitude and admiration, for their willingness to take the heat, for saying what we all believe. Hey, maybe this little manuveur will backfire on Hannity, just like Bill Maher.
