Anybody But Bush?

Reported by Judy - August 12, 2004 -

Fox and Friends was working hand-in-glove with the moonies again today (August 12), doing a phone interview with Washington Times reporter Bill Gertz, whose story about al Qaeda's alleged assasination plot the friends went ga-ga over yesterday.

The Fox and Friends co-hosts spent part of the interview discussing how al Qaeda wants to disrupt the November election. Gertz claimed that al Qaeda "went to school on the Madrid bombing" (8:24 a.m. EDT). "They really feel ... that they could disrupt the elections and possibly lead to the defeat of the incumbent president," Gertz claimed.

Why would Osama bin Laden want to get rid of George Bush? Osama bin Laden has been able to elude Bush's efforts to capture him for three years. Recent arrests are coming thanks to Pakistan, not anything George has done, and the Bush administration has probably hurt the Pakistani efforts by revealing the name of the source who has been providing such valuable information. In fact, George probably boosted OBL's recruiting efforts by attacking Iraq, while also tying down troops that could be used to hunt down the guy responsible for the 9/11 attacks.

Anybody but Bush? That may be my motto, but I doubt if it's OBL's.
