Ben Stein was on Your World w/Neil Cavuto today (August 6, 2004). Stein, author of the new book, Can America Survive?: The Rage of the Left, the Truth, and What to Do About It , is a frequent Fox News guest. In introducing Stein, Fox News/Stuart Varney aired the anti-Kerry campaign commercial featuring the "swift boat" veterans. Whether or not it was the complete ad, from first second to last, doesn't matter. Enough of it was aired to get the point across.
COMMENT: Fox was wrong to air the ad. (One of the swift boat veterans now regrets being involved with this group. See this article from Wired.)
