Bob J. Perry, a Houston homebuilder and long-time donor to Republican candidates and causes, donated $100,000 to the Swift Boat Veterans for Truth, a Washington-based 527 non-profit that released an anti-Kerry ad yesterday (8/5/2004). (CNN)
Other donors include: John O'Neill (TX), Hardin Crow (TX), Paraclette (Paraclete) Armor & Equipment, Inc. (NC), Christine Lindsay (NY), Weymouth Symmes (MT), Roy Hoffman (VA), Dr. Robert Dingeman (AK), Steven Brody (PA), Floyd Isley (CA) and Ann Iverson (TX). Source: Open Secrets. These individuals raised a total of $158,750.
The problem is, according to Dick Morris on yesterday's O'Reilly Factor, this group purchased a $500,000 media buy in three states.
By my calculations, that means they are short $341,250.
Well, yesterday O'Reilly said: "I'm sure you've got a phantom George Soros on the crazy right wing side".
Did this mysterious Mr. or Ms." X" donate the other $341,250?
