Kerry and Edwards Drawing Record-Breaking Crowds

Reported by Eleanor - August 4, 2004 -

This item came from democrats.com daily news. "Forget the pitiful (not to mention obvious in their desperation) polls by CNN/Gallup and the other Bushie minions claiming tepid support for Kerry! Kerry and Edwards are drawing huge enthusiastic crowds everywhere they go! And not just huge - record-breaking huge!"

"(Mayor Chris) Doherty said the estimated crowd of 17,000 was the largest he's ever seen at a political event in [Scranton, PA]. He compared it to John F. Kennedy's visit in 1960.".... In Grand Rapids, MI, "police estimated that 20,000 to 25,000 people attended [a Kerry rally], which would make it one of Grand Rapids' largest political rallies in recent memory. Hundreds waved blue and white 'Help is on the way' signs." By contrast, only 4,000 people turned out to see Bush, who spoke Friday only a few blocks away!
