Could You Leave Bush Out for 90 Seconds?

Reported by Melanie - August 4, 2004 -

Carl Cameron, the Fox News reporter assigned to the Kerry campaign, filed a report today from Davenport, Iowa, the "site of Kerry's economic summit." Cameron said Kerry was in Davenport and "so was President George Bush." Cameron said 200 CEOs endorsed Kerry today, "saying in one fashion or another" that Kerry will make "it easier for them to do business."

Not wanting this positive Kerry news to hang in the air too long, Cameron was quick to point out that those endorsements have "already drawn criticism" from the Bush-Cheney camp which says that 40 of the 200 companies outsource jobs overseas and that Kerry's a "Benedict Arnold" because he says he's against outsourcing but then accepts the endorsement of companies that do it.

COMMENT: It would be so nice if, during the 90 seconds Cameron (or anybody else) reports on John Kerry, it could be purely about John Kerry, without the Bush-Cheney perspective thrown in.
