Unhappy with a Low-Paying Job? Take Prozac!

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - A campaign worker for President Bush said on Thursday American workers unhappy with low-quality jobs should find new ones -- or pop a Prozac to make themselves feel better.
"Why don't they get new jobs if they're unhappy -- or go on Prozac?" said Susan Sheybani, an assistant to Bush campaign spokesman Terry Holt.

There is a story that Marie Antoinette, wife of King Louis XVI of France, was told that the people were starving. She tossed off a quick retort: "Let them eat cake!"
Marie and Louis did not remain the rulers of France for very much longer!
Ms. Sheybani clearly has good health insurance with a generous prescription drug benefit. Otherwise, she would have known that people with "low-paying" jobs cannot afford Prozac.
