Will Greg Hymowitz Be Back?

Reported by Melanie - July 28, 2004 -

At 4:34 p.m. ET today (July 28, 2004) on Your World w/Neil Cavuto, Terry Keenan, Greg Hymowitz, Jonathan Hoeing, and Cavuto discussed "the oil situation." (Oil reached historic highs today, at over $43.00 per barrel, before slipping back down just a bit.)

Very frequent guest, Greg Hymowitz took a stand in support of John Kerry. Here's what happened.

During the group discussion, Greg Hymowitz strongly defended John Kerry's position on a number of issues, even getting into a bit of a tiff with Hoeing, who expressed horror that Kerry would sign the Kyoto Treaty. When someone suggested the markets would go down under a Kerry presidency, Hymowitz pointed out that the markets haven't been doing all that well for the last four years. Among other things, Hymowitz said "I agree with John Kerry," health care is something we should make sure everyone in this country has.

COMMENT: At the sign off, Cavuto acted a little cold toward Hymowitz. Hopefully we'll continue to see him on Fox's financial shows. It'll be telling if we don't. Hymowitz has always expressed Democratic views but never have I seen him speaking as adamantly and forcefully as he did today. (He almost acted like he'd just seen Outfoxed.)
