"Fair and Balanced Now"

At 1:03 p.m. ET on today's (July 22, 2004) Dayside w/Linda Vester, Vester went to Assistant for Communications Dan Bartlett for "a more detailed response from the White House" to the 9/11 Commission's report.
The interview, with Bartlett standing on the White House lawn, concluded at 1:07 p.m. ET, at which time Vester said "fair and balanced now," and introduced Bill Nelson (D-FL) of the Senate Armed Services Committee for his reaction.
COMMENT: Wrong. "Fair and balanced" would have been someone speaking for the Kerry/Edwards campaign Linda.
