Curious Tid Bit
Reported by Melanie - July 20, 2004 -
Today's (July 20, 2004) Your World w/Neil Cavuto started at the top of the hour (4:00 p.m. ET) with nine minutes on space exploration. (Tomorrow is the 35th anniversary of the moon landing.)
Cavuto's first guest was a man named Bradley Edwards, a physicist involved in building a "space elevator." The second guest was Buzz Aldrin. Aldrin was in the landing craft on the first landing mission but did not actually step foot on the moon until the second mission.
COMMENT: This segment was patriotic and somewhat informative. Maybe Bush is going to make a speech soon about grand visions for future space exploration and Fox is setting the stage? I wouldn't be surprised. It just seemed a bit odd to me to have a lengthy segment on this topic lead the show.
