"Star-studded hate fest"
Reported by Chrish - July 10, 2004 -
Carl Cameron was in rare form on FNL July 9, 3:16 EDT. He shared with us the names Bush was called by celebrities and performers (thug, liar) at last night's Radio City Music Hall fundraiser (which brought in $7.5 million, omg) but admitted it was amazing, a tremendous show.
There was, according to Carl, more Bush-bashing than since the Howard Dean heyday tirades, and, Carl said, John Kerry said the show spoke to America's heart and soul.
"The fact that John Kerry did not stand up and repudiate what was said last night has the GOP very angry...this morning Kerry campaign aides said he didn't agree with everything that was said last night, but last night the candidate himself said they were the heart and soul of America." He goes on to say that it's" very interesting that JK and JE, with very liberal voting records, attacked as they are by Republicans, would be courting the traditional values vote which historically would be Republican. Kerry and Edwards are clearly taking the 'best defense is a good offense'" route.
Comment: What's your point, Carl? Kerry should tuck tail and apologize to the Republican smear machine, for associating with people who despise Bush and aren't afraid to say so? The heart and soul of this country IS angry, and disillusioned, and disgusted - at least those of us who look beyond Fox for our news.
