Monica Crowley just could wait to tell the Fox viewers about the Bush bashing Kerry Fundraiser filled with Hollywood celebrities. "You won't believe what happened there" and "you will be shocked, when you hear what they said", were examples of the teases leading up to the segment. Sadly for Crowley, the final product did not live up to the hype.

It was all planned in advance. The shocking expose of the liberal media elite trashing Bush would be followed by highlights from "Hannity's Freedom Concert" showing the loyal,altruistic, and patriotic Republicans.
Monica Crowley explained that she was at the Kerry fundraiser doing "oppositional research." Bubbling with anticipation she showed her horrid clips that would shock and awe the viewers.
First up was Jessica Lange calmly telling the audience that she believed in the Kerry/Edwards ticket because their new vision would move the country forward. Wow, that was pretty harsh.
Then Chevy Chase shown at the podium made a rather inarticulate but mild political statement and said ,"I'm frightened by Bush. I don't really like him and want him out." Are you shocked yet?
Monica revealed that Whoopy Goldberg made inapprioriate sexual jokes about Bush. Whoopy does that for everyone, so big deal.
Now finally for the most horrific act committed. Meryl Streep said that we should "turn the other cheek" to promote world peace. Okay, that one must have pumped you with adrenaline.
Carl Jeffers, introduced as a Republican strategist, immediatly told Monica the behaviors shown seemed fine to him. Monica was furious mentioning Meryl Streep's push for peace. " Does that mean we should give Usama Bin Laden a daisy and a hug!," she wailed.
The segment ended with Monica Crowley fuming."Well, you got the word and it's appalling."
