What, no Halliburton?
Reported by Chrish - July 9, 2004 -
Jonathan Hunt, shouting about the "UN Scandal" on Fox News Live July 8, reveals that there is a list of companies who were trading with Saddam Hussein (3:37EDT). The big winners in the scheme
were Russian and Saudi Arabian companies. "They or their governments were willing to back Saddam, against international sanctions". We are told there are no American companies, but the lists are "not necessarily complete". "The French, for example", were heavily involved but no French names appear on the list.
Comment: Call me cynical, but if Halliburton isn't on the list in some incarnation, then the list probably isn't complete.
