Typical Fox "Fair & Balanced" Interview

Reported by Eleanor - July 7, 2004 -

On Fox News (July 7, 2:48 p.m. ET) a typical "fair and balanced" interview was conducted the way they are always conducted on Fox. The republican is interviewed first. He/she says everything on their mind, exactly as they want to say it with no interruption.

The democrat is second. The democrat takes a couple of minutes to get to the point, when they are invariably cut off with a commercial or some other interruption by the anchor or by the republican half of the interview. Rarely, does a democrat have a chance to complete a statement without interruption. A few democrats are prepared for a typical Fox interview and stand their ground, but most come totally unprepared for the onslaught of republican hubris.
